The benefits of our marketing channel

One of the Slack channels that makes a difference in our organization is the marketing channel. Most Kiwis are focused on creating beautiful sites and shops all day long. The marketing department shares our updates, knowledge articles and vacancies via Twitter and LinkedIn and Facebook. Because we have integrated Twitter into Slack, everyone in the marketing channel sees what is being communicated.

The nice and unexpected effect of this is that we now get more and more input from the teams. We have much  bonuses at wall street’s biggest banks to rise sharplymore to report than the marketing department initially knew. In addition, people who did not do so before are now sharing more themselves. We increase our visibility, which means we get more quote requests.

Slack and social

There are many things that can be integrated into Slack. In addition to our own Twitter account, we can also have tweets from specific customers, partners, suppliers and competitors come in to a public or private channel. That is useful, because it allows us to respond and interact faster. That is ultimately what  caseno email listwe want with social. A pleasant side effect is time savings.

y not having to constantly monitor our Twitter account. Currently, Facebook, Pinterest and LinkedIn are not natively hook jordi van den bovenkamp integrated into Slack, but it will undoubtedly happen.
