Screen reader support

A significant number of Internet users rely Screen reader support heavily on screen readers to navigate the web due to a permanent or temporary visual impairment. Generally, good code is enough to make your site readable by most screen readers.

However, a web application with a variety of custom tools, elements, and settings like the Client Area and Site Tools requires a little more work to make it accessible to screen reader users. We spent a lot of time researching, developing, and testing each page in both interfaces to ensure the content is readable in popular screen reader software like JAWS, NVDA, and Voice Over.

Implementing screen reader support for the complex slovenia phone number library components required for web hosting tools was uncharted territory for us. We began the implementation by following established accessibility standards, and along the way, we invited accessibility experts with various visual disabilities to help us test and improve what we were doing. Working closely with them and observing how our work enabled people to do things they weren’t able to do before made our efforts worthwhile.
