I think it is a missed opportunity for McDonald’s not to hear the opinion of the customers on Twitter, where it is often the support posts for the lampsabout quick and short questions, complaints or comments. The missed opportunity to promote new products, to place certain (win) promotions and to share news is even bigger in my opinion! McDonald’s biggest competitor, Burger King , also uses Twitter very actively in the Netherlands. Burger King uses this platform to promote products, to hold promotions and even to recruit people for a job at the fast food chain.

It is a shame that a big brand like McDonald’s does not use its activities on Twitter more specifically. Hopefully McDonald’s players who come to vodafonewill also use Twitter in the Netherlands in the future. In addition to a platform strategy on Facebook, a platform strategy on Twitter would not be out of place.
Apple’s App Store
There is no official account of Apple’s on Twitter, but there is one internationally of course. Too bad, because in my opinion there is marketing list a very large market that would benefit from this. It happens very often that I see questions about Apple products and apps on my Twitter or Facebook timeline. Eventually people do get answers to their questions, but these are from family, friends or Apple enthusiasts. Unfortunately, Apple does not help their customers any further with this. For marketing activities, it is of course not really necessary for Apple’s App Store to start a Twitter account. It is allowed, but there is no shortage of fans at Apple.
