The surface weather map shows an extensive low pressure complex with several cores. One was locat west of Switzerland today and l an occlud frontal system mainly to the western parts of the country. A second core was locat east of Switzerland and during the course of the day direct a disturbance from the north to the northern side of the Alps. The weather was accordingly changeable. The last sunny periods were still to be seen in the eastern part of Lake Constance in the morning. The southern side of the Alps was protect by the Alps and had good weather. The sun shone for 4 to 5 hours in central and southern Ticino. In the other regions, the sky was mostly cloudy today.
