Looking to Easter

Different than expected
Today we were still concerned with the weakening low pressure system, which, contrary to original expectations, did not simply move south from Germany over the Alps. No, it had decided otherwise at short notice and preferred a somewhat more westerly route over Alsace, along the French Jura to the Rhone Valley. This was also reflected in a U-turn in the models. The result of this compared to the forecast from the previous day: significantly sunnier weather in German-speaking Switzerland and less shower activity overall, especially on the northern slopes of the Alps.

Nevertheless, there were local snow showers in the mountains, as here from the Alp Ober Altberg (1433 m above sea level), near the Ibergeregg with a view of Lake Lucerne.

change to a bise position

From Monday, a high over Scandinavia will dominate the weather in the Alpine region. A more or less moderate northeasterly flow will bring mostly dry but colder air to the northern side of the Alps. However, a low from the Black Sea will gradually approach the Alpine region in the middle of the week. It is still somewhat uncertain exactly how its path will run and what effect this will have on the weather in Switzerland.

what does this mean for the Easter weather?

These uncertainties from the middle of the week will of course also remain for do you make money from your videos? if so, how and can you make a living from it? the Easter weather. The high will remain more or less over Scandinavia and Switzerland will therefore be under its influence with dry, breezy air. However, it remains to be seen whether the low pressure area (as described above) will continue to have an effect on our weather or whether it will weaken. According to the current aero leads models, it should be at least partly to quite sunny in the north. Rain is most likely on Good Friday and from Easter Monday. Overall, the likelihood of rain is likely to remain rather low. The highest temperature from Friday will probably be between 10 and 13 degrees.
